An installation exploring the distorting effects peak experiences and rational perception have on each other. Chamber 2 creates a shared space where sound can be experienced visually – a geodesic dome lined with semi-reflective membranes, washed in 5000k light. Outside the dome, unable to join the group, a single viewer may control the vibration of the shimmering membranes using a theremin. Window is an acoustically- reactive viewing frame which turns the ambient sounds of the gallery into visual vibrations which are seen by a single viewer. Video walkthrough:
